What is the Holocaust?

Warning: This blog contains some explicit content. Reader discretion is advised.

Ok, so I know that most of you are probably thinking "what do you MEAN what's the Holocaust!? Are you being serious!? EVERYONE knows what the Holocaust is!" or something along those lines. Well, you're half right. I am being serious and most people do know what the Holocaust is even if its just the main basic idea. So if I were to ask what the Holocaust is to people, most would respond by saying that its the mass murder of millions of Jews in concentration camps or something like that. But do you know that the Holocaust did not just pertain to Jews, but also many other individuals? All who didn't fit the characteristics of Nazi Germany's so so-called perfect Aryan race were sent to these concentration camps and were also killed at ghettos. Specific individuals like Jehovah's Witnesses, communists, and homosexuals also died, just to name a few.

Bodies were thrown in piles into mass graves dug up in the ground
However, there are some people out there that don't believe this tragic event occurred. It wasn't until this year in my history class that the idea of people not believing in the Holocaust crossed my mind. I had never before thought that people would have the audacity to deny the fact that this event happened. I find it completely outrageous that people would do such a thing. That is why it has been bestowed upon me to provide eveidence that the Holocaust did in fact occur.

  1. Yeah this is terrible, I can't believe how people deny that this ever occured. It clearly happened and we should learn from history and make sure it never happens again but instead people are trying to hide their shameful past.

  2. I think it is insane how out of control the holocaust and hitler got and well as how some people still dare to deny that the holocaust ever happened when there is more than enough evidence..If only hed used his brains for good instead of evil...

  3. You've got a point, it is completely outrageous people would do such a thing, but I supposed it's kind of human nature to try and exterminate something you fear or dislike for whatever reason. It's wrong, but just because it's wrong doesn't mean it never happened. Some people (AHMADINEJAD) need to open their eyes and realize that just saying it didn't happen isn't enough to disprove all of this grotesque evidence of the event. I see no reason why thousands of people would just fabricate a devastating event like this. It's just crazy. But yeah, GOOD JOB LEO, creepy pic!

  4. by the way, there are two prts to this blog. i accidentally put it in two posts. and i see where you're trying to go with that whole "human nature to try and exterminate" but i think the fact that these are fellow human beings we are talking about just raises the severity level THAT much and that's what differentiates exterminating insects from exterminating people.

  5. I agree, it is absolutely terrible that something of this scale happened, and worse still that some people actually have the nerve to deny it...

  6. Dude hitler could have been trying to stop the world from over populating. im not saying he took the right approach to the situation but he might have realized a growing problem that is still going on.
