A big chunk of factual information are the Nuremburg Trials that were held after WWII by the Allied Forces between 1945 and 1946. About 22 Nazi regime officials were tried before the International Military Tribunal (IMT) for crimes against peace and humanity as well as war crimes. The purpose of these trials was for Germany to prove itself guilty of the horrible crimes commited during the time of WWII. Allied prosecutors submitted 3,000 tons of German documents and records to the Nuremburg trials, like the artifact below.

Since Germans were fond of filming what went on in camps and in the war, the prosecutors used these recordings against the Germans to prove that they were guilty. Asside from videos of such atrocities, photographies were also used as evidence. One example would be the photos of the "Stroop Report" which displayed what happened at the Warsaw ghetto uprising in 1943 when SS police leader Stroop captured about 55,000 Jews and killed about 7,000.
Straight from the Source
Another form of evidence is the Holocaust survivors themselves. Who better to get your information upright and correct then from some one who actually went though all that happened and lived to tell the story? The kind of stories they tell are very awe-strucking and leave the listener in shock since the experiences gone through can turn out to be very gruesome, bizarre, insane, and/or violent. They are genuine poignant stories that go straight to the heart and will have some sort of impact on every person with a heart if you fully comprehend what the survivors have to say.

It wasn't just survivors who came out with the truth, but German perpetrators as well. Three people, specifically, came out and got their guilt out in the open for others to be reassured that they in fact had to do with the mass murder. Herman Goring, Otto Ohlendorf, and Rudolf Hoess were some of the officers that came clean about the killings they had committed from gassing Jews. This was quickly followed by a sort of self-defensive statement that they were only abiding by what they were told to do and that they carried out legitimate orders from the state. However, even they knew themselves that there was nothing they could do to save themselves from severe punishment. The frankness of tis matter is what makes this such a chilling event. But if its stories you want to hear, paying attention to Holocaust survivor stories are what prove to be "antidotes" to denial of the Holocaust.
The Truth
All I have posted supports the idea that the Holocaust did in fact happen. All these forms of evidence can't say different. It is only up to one's self to believe it and embrace it as a historical event. Those who don't believe it must say different if they have read this blog, but if not, then they should know that they live surrounded by ignorance just like the rest of the non-believers. The only way to disprove this event is to deny all data and information so, therefore, it cannot be backed up with arguments as to why it didn't happen since there's only one way to disprove it. The non-believers can't back up their point.
